Citywide Spelling Bee
​
2026 marks the 40th year that JWC has sponsored the Citywide Spelling Bee to promote education among local students. The "bee" is held every Spring and has dozen of local student entries between Milford Public Schools and St. Mary School.
The Citywide Spelling Bee does not have any affiliation with the Scripps National Spelling Bee. ​
Respect Awards
​
The Respect Awards is a program JWC of Milford offered to take over in 2017. It is a peer nominated program where students elect one Respect Star per classroom who shows respect for themselves, their classmates, their school and their community.
​
The Respect Stars are invited to walk with us in the Memorial Day parade!
Community Excellence Award
​
Formally known as the Living Treasure Award, this award has been presented over the past 20 years focused on honoring a Milford citizen aged 55 years or older, male or female, been a resident of Milford for at least ten years and whose contributions have enriched the community.

Milford Seniors Scholarships
​
​Awarded annually to high school seniors who have shown exemplary devotion to the Milford community.

Please see the form below to submit your application. A scholarship ceremony is typically held in June.
